Crushed overnight company in Canada for her 1^st career win, and keep in mind that the track appeared to be at least 2 seconds off that night.  Should continue to improve with the stretch to the mile strip.  Must respect.

Was going to be at least 2^nd the other night before she made a break in mid-stretch.  Never really looked overly comfortable the entire mile.  No question she has the talent, but can she mind her manners?

A ton of early speed, but would need a lot more stamina to hang around late against these.  DN chose over #5.

Simone Hall

Looked like she was home free last time at Vernon, but had to settle for 2^nd when she got collared late.  Lands in a comfortable spot for her first local try, but I’ll try to beat her at what figures to be a short price.

She certainly hasn’t proven that she is fast enough to go with the top ones in here just yet, but I can promise that her runner up finish two back was ultra impressive regardless of time.  Not overly tough group here.  Maybe.

Expressive Victor

Added hobbles in the AM and she put in a nice clean line to finish up 3^rd.  Hopefully that will cure the breaking issues, but still not sure she is ready to knock off these just yet.

Decent morning effort, but going to have to find a lot more horsepower to hang with these.  Not yet.

The queen of the KY Fairs was forced into a 55 and change middle half in the $8.5k KY Fair Final, and that proved to be a little much as #6 got by her down the lane.  Never been worse than 2^nd.  Big shot.

Impressive Q’fer, but is asking quite a bit for her to be ready to hang with the top ones in here in her 1^st career try.  Should sit close in small field.  Maybe underneath.  Wrenn opted here over #3.

Olive Oyle

Connections are obviously still tinkering with this one, as she added lasix for her first career try and quickly removed it after a dull effort.  Wide open crew here, but she’ll have to find more stamina.

Diligent Prospect

Tired after working hard to make the lead in her last at Pocono, and shows a decent 4^th place finish prior in $36k stake at Tioga.  I could make a case for nearly any of these.

Caribbean Treasure

Has been chasing #’s 1 & 6 all year on the KY Fair circuit, and not sure things are going to get any easier for her here.  Pass.

KZ Beach Girl

Had a nice trip against #1 last time, but I must admit that she looked very good getting by her down the lane for an easy win.  Appears to be peaking at the right time.

Déjà Vu Too

Rebounded after a couple of breaks with a nice even effort to finish up a game 2^nd at The Big M last time.  Not sure she can hang with #8 just yet, but should sit close and looks like her main threat.

Classact Volo

Must have hooked a monster in that AM effort at Pocono, 56.1 is an unbelievable Q’fer for a 2yotf.  Unfortunately for her, she has landed in against tough company for her first try under the lights tonight as well.

Blue Diamonds

Made a break at the start last week, but keep in mind that the track was not in great shape after heavy rains.  Displayed some talent in the AM at Big M, needs her very best here.

FanFan Dream

Absolutely crushed overnight company on opening night, but will have to improve even more to hang with the top ones in here.  Definitely some talent here though.

Little Bitty Lies

Conservatively handled for top connections in her career debut at Springfield, finishing 2^nd as the odds on favorite.  I would expect a similar off the pace effort here, maybe a notch below the top ones at this point.

Not sure she is ready to master this bunch yet.  Pass.

Redur beautiful

Chestnut filly has really taken off since arriving locally, but faces her toughest task yet in the opening leg of stakes action.  Probably going to have to do it from last.

True Day Dream

Made quick work of her rivals of late, and this is quite possibly one of the most talented fillies in not only KY, but the entire country.  She is a true dream for the connections.  Can’t see her getting beat.

Couldn’t have possibly looked more impressive in the AM as a 20 length winner, and doesn’t appear to have landed in overly tough for his first stakes try.  Short price looming, the one to beat.

Talk about a regally bred colt?  A World Champ mom & dad, but this guy hasn’t shown an abundance of ability just yet.  Likely to be overbet given the pedigree, I’ll try him underneath only.

Sharpshot Hall

I really thought this guy could be something special when I saw the local Q’fer, but quite honestly he has disappointed me in both LT starts to this point.  Any improvement at all puts him right in the mix though.

PA invader makes his 1^st LT start tonight, and I’m not sure he is ready to climb this mountain just yet.

Had a flat tire for the back half of the mile two back in the $10k KY Fair Final, but I must admit I was a bit disappointed with his finish in overnight last time.  Would need a lot more to go with these.

Made a break in his only LT start, and I’ll watch him go around the big track once first.

Howdy Dewey

Absolutely loved this guy last time, and he saved all the ground to pick up a nice 2^nd place finish at big odds.  Picks up the services of MacDonald tonight, and should continue to improve.  I’m still on board.

Southwind Metallic

Made a break far behind the gate in his only local try, and followed that up with a nice even Q’fer in Chicago.  Has his work cut out from post 8, but should be flying late if he minds his manners.

Caveat Emptor

Closed well to pick up a nice 4^th place check in the massive $387k Peter Haughton stake on Hambo Day at The Meds.  Appears to be further along than the rest of these at this point.  No question the one to beat.

Has had some breaking issues thus far in his brief career, but shows a nice Q’fying effort around the half mile track at Grand River in his last.  Will have to pick it up quite a bit to hang with these though.

Driven like he was the best last week, and he was most certainly the best as he dominated a pretty decent crew at odds of 10-1 under very little urging.  Should continue to improve in 2^nd LT try.  Must use.

Finally put in a clean line last time at Pocono, but appears to be in deep water here.  I’ll pass for now.   Tyler Smith opted to drive his stablemate #7 instead.

Couldn’t keep up with his rival in Philly Q’fer in speedy back half.  Won’t get any easier here.

Doesn’t appear to pack the speed to hang with the top ones in here just yet.  Pass.

Got caught in the back in overnight against #3, and really never had any shot from where he had to come from.  Tyler will have to find a way to work him into the race here, or they will say adios once again.

Coming off a blowout Q’fer at The Big M where he actually dominated #3, and I will add extra points there as #3 came back to win easy here in his local debut.  Hereeeeeeeee’s Johnny in his career debut tonight….

Rode the rail to an even 5^th place finish Thursday, but needs more to contend for major awards.

Talk about a turnaround, this guy was 0 for 20 in his career and he has been vicious since arriving on the red clay.  Lands in another comfortable spot, and looks to make it 3 in a row.

Had a nice trip in his first local try, but finished far behind #2 regardless.  Faces all 3 of the ones that beat him in that one again tonight.  Needs more.

Parlayed a perfect trip into his first career victory last time, but steps up to take on a tougher group tonight.  Has certainly rounded into form, but would need even more to hang with the top ones in here.

Her Misconduct

Another even effort last time from post 10, and keep in mind she was beaten less than 2 lengths for 2^nd in there.  Lands in a perfect mid-pack post tonight, Stiltner should have plenty of options.

Lady Cambest

Not bad to hold on for the place spot in her first start in 7 months last week, and she should be tightened up and ready to rock in her 2^nd off the shelf tonight.  Still will need her very best to knock off the fav.

Yakkity Yak Jack

Has been facing some fairly tough company compared to these in Indiana & Ohio, and comes off a blowout AM work.  Shows a 54.3 win earlier this year at Scioto.  Has the talent if he’s ready to roll.

Rode the rail to a 3^rd place finish behind #’s 2 & 6 last time at big odds.  Not a bad effort at all, but would have to pick it up quite a bit to threaten for any major awards.

Started off well earlier this season, but lately she has been the one getting Blue By.  Has her work cut out from post 9, but I suspect Page will put her in play early if she is on her game.  Your call.

Took the lead for a brief moment down the lane last time but couldn’t hold off the late rally by the fav and had to settle for a close 3^rd.  Draws inside of her main rivals for her 3^rd start off the shelf.  Picks up Page.  I can make a case here.

Yank My Rope

A perfect 2^nd over trip here on Thursday night, and she parlayed that into a nice 3^rd place finish.  Not quite sure things will work out that perfectly again tonight, but she certainly fits with these.

Tried to bottom out the field at a big number on Thursday, but tired once again late to fade out of it.  I’ll wait until we see more stamina before hopping on board.

Has been holding her own in the $5k claiming ranks in Columbus, and takes what should be a substantial drop in for $3k for her first local try.  Anywhere close to her best effort puts her squarely in the mix.

I liked this mare last time and she never really got worked into the race in finishing far back.  She IS much better than that, and ideally could end up with a nice trip following #5.  Price should be right.  Your call.

Things set up well for her last time, as she sat in the back as they blazed through some quick early fractions but she still failed to fire.  Would take a LOT more.

The circus came to town late last time as she ended up finishing a hard charging 2^nd.  For whatever reason, I still wasn’t overly impressed with that one, I would use her underneath only.

Rode the rail to a distant 4^th place finish last time, but gets stuck way out in post 9 here and is still yet to hit the board in 10 seasonal starts.  Not tonight.

Drops into the claiming series here after a nice 3^rd place finish behind a couple of solid males in the conditioned ranks.  Unfortunately stuck way out in post 10, Stiltner should be firing early.

A long uncovered journey last time after leaving for early position as well, and she hung in there to finish up a nice 2^nd behind #8.  Should sit close from the pole, the toughest crew she’s faced to date though.

Shows a ton of early speed in those AM efforts, and you can bet Noble will put her right in play.  Not sure she is ready to take on a field like this just yet though.

Held her own against some solid fields on the east coast, and I would expect Schnittker to be on the gas early and often in this spot.  Looks to be further along than these at this point.  Must respect.

I will admit that I wasn’t overly high on her coming into the last start, but she really found another gear in deep stretch when TS asked her for more.  Should continue to improve in her 2^nd LT start here.

Makes her first LT start against a solid stakes field from the outside post.  Not a beautiful scenario.

Lone 2yo lands in a comfortable spot for his career debut even though he is taking on older rivals.  Shows a couple of sharp morning works, should be poised to win at first asking.

Tired late to finish 6^th behind the fav last time, and this colt is yet to win now in 18 career tries.  Does have 12 on the board finishes, should sit close from inside post.  Maybe underneath.

Appeared to get away to a very slow start from post 1 in $10k mini-stake at Indy last time, but trotted evenly from that point on.  Should continue to improve in her 3^rd career try, and 2^nd back off the brief layoff.

Gapped off late to finish far back in the Q’fer, and appears to have landed in against some tough ones here.  Pass.  Loney opted here over #3.

Really rounded the corner over the last month, and was a hard charging 2^nd against similar company in her last try.  Perfect mid-pack post leaves Lunsford with plenty of options.  Must respect.

Didn’t have much to offer in her first local try.  Not tonight.

B Q Bull

Finished 2^nd in $7.5k KY Fair Final in his last, but keep in mind that was only a 3 horse field.  Stamina has been his main concern.  Not ready to hop on board just yet.

Not sure why he ended up scratched after what was a solid AM work, but this guy has shown flashes of talent throughout his career.  Consistency has always been the problem.  I’ll make him beat me.

No question she is setting sail for the top from post 10, and she has put in a couple of large efforts to kick off her ’12 campaign.  Should continue to improve and be able to hold on for a piece late.

Showed back up at Pocono after missing some time and put in a dazzling work with Rockin’ Rob Harmon in the bike.  Typically don’t like a 1^st time starter in stakes action, but this is a very talented filly.  Must use.

This filly might be better than she appears on paper, as she has been on a sloppy surface in the last couple.  1^st career start was a big effort at Scioto to get beat a neck.  Should sit close against a solid crew.  Your call.

Blew up behind the gate in her last, and now takes on a tough field in stakes action to follow it up.  I’ll watch her go around the track once first.

Made a break in her only start as well, but she did follow that up with a nice Q’fer where she held off #8 late.  Out of a very nice mare, but I’m going to watch one under the lights before endorsing.

Perfect trip last time, but couldn’t keep up with the top 2 in there.  Yet to miss the board, but taking a large step up here.  Not against these.

Finished far behind #1 in the AM effort at Pocono, but put in a nice 3^rd place try in $27k stake prior at Club Med.  I would expect another off the pace rally coming here.  Big shot at the minor awards.

Tough luck in making a break in the $354k stake in her last start, but this filly has shown some major flashes of talent thus far in her brief career.  With some starts under her belt, I’ll give her the slight edge over #1.

Finished up right behind #4 in the AM, but has hooked an overly tough group for her 1^st LT start.  I’ll wait for a better spot.

Schnittker takes back over the driving duties after she made a break last time, but she has her work cut out for her from the outside against a nice group.  No way he will sit last, should be blasting early.  Your call.

I am a huge fan of this guy!  The bad news is he has hooked two of the toughest colts in the entire class in #’s 5 & 6, the good news is it appears wide open behind those two.  I’ll slot him in 3^rd.  ICE COLD 6-5-1!

Hasn’t shown a lot of ability in the AM just yet, and I’m not sure he is ready to launch in this spot.

Q’fer was good last time, but he has had a lot of breaking problems in recent times.  It would take a complete turnaround to snag a piece of this one.

The KY Fair Champ faded badly against overnight company in his last, but is one of many with a shot at the minor awards behind the favs.  Not sure I can endorse after the last try though.

Back to back wins in the Kindergarten Series, including getting parked every step of the mile over a sloppy track 2 back and still drawing away.  Looks like a 2 horse race on paper with #6.  Take your pick.

Dewycolor intheline

A nice even effort to pick up a 5^th place check in the $387k Haughton, but will need his very best effort to knock off #5.  Appears to be yet another very talented Dewey 1^st cropper for team Schnittker.

Looked like a different horse last time as he sustained a long first over grind to finish 3^rd at over 99-1 in only his 2^nd LT start.  I was very impressed by that try, and he should continue to improve.

Perfectly driven in local overnight to sprint by for his 1^st career victory.  Lands in the toughest of the 2 KYSS divisions for pacing colts though, not sure he is ready to challenge for top honors.

Has looked like a different horse since arriving locally in KY Fair action, and he has yet to be encouraged whatsoever.  Steps up against some solid colts here though.  Can he improve enough to go with these?

Has been facing some top notch competition in east coast tries, and is yet to miss the board in 4 LT starts.  His best effort makes him the one to beat.

A much improved effort last time to finish up 2^nd behind #1, but has landed in quite the shark tank here in the opening leg of KYSS action.  I’ll wait for a better spot.

Another east coast invader, and there is no question Noble will be putting him into play early.  Should be in line for a nice trip behind the fav.  Maybe underneath.

Held his own on KY Fair circuit this year, but it appears that the KYSS may have come up a bit tough for him.  Lands in the softer of 2 divisions, but still not an easy task.

Tough trip in $22k Review last time, and couldn’t fend off a 32-1 longshot in his only local try against overnight company prior.  Dillander jumps aboard, but needs a lot more.

Off to a nice start thus far in his brief career, but I must point out that he finished a disappointing 5^th as the odds on fav in his last try at Scioto.  Likely going to be another short price here.  Maybe vulnerable.

Not quite sure he is ready to go with the top ones in here just yet, but I have been very impressed with the first couple of his career.  Asking a lot to be ready for these, but I think there is some talent here.

Tired late after getting away fairly cheap on the front end last time in Chi-town, and things aren’t going to get any easier with the summons to take on stakes company.  I’ll wait until we see signs of improvement.

Sprinted by his rivals late to take his 1^st career try, and should continue to improve in his 2^nd LT try tonight.  I can make a big case here.

Had a solid year on the KY Fair circuit, and speedster picks up Noble for his first stakes try tonight.  No question he will be stepping on the gas early.  Catch him if you can.

A couple of average AM efforts, and not sure he packs the speed to hang with these just yet.

Absolutely crushed in the Q’fer with a 27.3 kicker under no urging.  Lands in the weaker of 2 divisions, should be poised for a big effort.  Maybe.

The quick early pace took its toll late, and she faded badly to finish 9^th in the opening leg of the mini-series.  Should be firing early once again, but stamina has been a major issue.

Drops from the Open into claiming company, and will have to have a good finish here to make the mini-series final.  Barn had a 77-1 winner here Thursday!  Don’t overlook this diamond, picks up Mark Mac.

Been off a couple of months and just shows an average Q’fer to tighten up in Cleveland.  The pressure is on for a good finish in order to make the mini-series final.  Loves to win, 10 of 22 on the year.  Is she ready to deal?

Didn’t have a lot to offer against these last time, and switches to Tyler Smith for the first time.  Would need a lot more though.

Locked into an absolute duel with #1 through the first ¾’s of a mile last time, and she expectedly tired late to finish last.  Barn has been on a roll here recently, should be tightened up and ready to go.  Live longshot?

Edged by #7 late to finish 2^nd behind #9 last time, but will have to pick it up quite a bit if she is going to challenge for top honors against these.

Encountered a little traffic trouble in her last start, and unfortunately she will likely be doing it from far back once again.  Any smooth journey should put her right in the mix though.

Hasn’t looked overly impressive in her Q’fying efforts after missing in action for over a year and a half.  I’ll watch her go around once first.

Didn’t have the easiest of trips last time, yet she was still able to cruise past her rivals to make it back to back wins locally.  Another tough task from outside post though, with short price looming.
